Herman Miller

Herman Miller 起源於 1905 年，是一家擁有逾 100 年歷史的美國經典家具品牌。自 20 世紀中時期開始，Herman Miller 已成為「摩登時尚」家具的代名詞。

Herman Miller 最經典的代表作，是由 Charles Eames 與 Ray Eames 夫婦於 50 年代中期合作利用當時的最新技術，以壓模夾板來設計及製作的 Eames Lounge Chair，這張經典躺椅熱賣超過 60 年，而魅力依然歷久不衰，連微軟創辦人 Bill Gates 及蘋果電腦前執行長 Steve Jobs 都是這張經典之作的收藏家。

Herman Miller同樣著名生產辦公室家具，主力生產各種座椅及工作桌，也有其他儲存櫃、支架、工作間設計等等。品牌對於人體脊椎健康進行多年的研究和實驗，於 1994 年研發出全球第一張採用複合纖維材質的人體工學網椅，有助改善人們工作時的坐姿，以減低患上脊骨引致的健康問題。當中最受歡迎的是以人體工學設計的辦公室專用座椅，包括有 Aeron、Embody、Mirra 及 Eames 等。Aeron Chair 還獲得紐約現代藝術博物館 (MoMA) 列為永久典藏的經典椅款，被喻為「人類有史以來最健康舒適的工作座椅」。
