ORIGINAL WULFRUN CREEPER – BLACK LEATHER & ROYAL STEWART TARTAN
The Original Wulfrun Creeper is constructed on a walled round-toe last, the upper design distinguished by the D-ring lace feature and interwoven apron.
Originated in Scotland, tartan was the fabric worn by crofters working the land. In the 19th century Tartan was romanticised by the elite and the establishment with each Tartan design representing a clan (family line). In true style Tartan was re-appropriated by the Punk movement in the second half of the 70’s. The wrestling of ownership of Tartan is ongoing. This Tartan is from the Royal Stewart clan.
